5 Simple Acts of Kindness

Here are 5 fun ways to show kindness. They are easy and affordable, but they can deeply impact others’ lives.

1. Give a homeless person a pair of socks.

Socks are the #1 requested item at homeless shelters. For every pair of socks that Bombas sells, they donate another pair of socks to a homeless shelter in America. Bombas socks cost about $12/pair.

2. Tip generously.

If you stop by a restaurant or a coffeeshop today, leave an extra generous tip. It’s a simple way to encourage someone else.

3. Feed a hungry baby for a week.

Malnutrition is a leading cause of infant mortality. You can help a malnourished child regain their strength by providing them with nutritious food for one week for $9 through Samaritan’s Purse.

4. Compliment a parent.

Good parents work so hard to love their children and to raise them right. If you know a parent who is loving their child/children well, let them know they’re doing a great job. It will make their day. Possibly their year.

5. Help a child learn that Jesus loves them.

The Greatest Journey” is a discipleship program provided through Samaritan’s Purse and local churches to children in Africa, Asia, and Latin America. Thousands of children, as well as many families, have decided to follow Christ as a result. For $6, one child can go through the 12-lesson Bible study and receive his/her own New Testament.
